can take place via a series of teleconferences
or in person. A typical in-person training is as follows:
OVERVIEW
OF 3-DAY TRAINING SESSION
Day 1:
Outcome:
By the end of Day 1 you will be ready to teach a basic week-long
summer camp program of 5 classes, or a month-long winter program
of 4 classes, for both the younger age group (K-2) and the older
age group (3rd-5th). You will have experienced hands-on the main
activities that form the foundation of the INCITE TO WRITESM
program.

2:
Outcome:
By the end of Day 2 you will have a firm grasp on how to teach
the mechanics of writing (Grammar and Paragraph-building) using
a series of fun, multi-dimensional activities and templates. You
will be able to lead several diverse activities that focus specifically
on Narrative and Expository Writing, and you will have an understanding
of how to prepare students for state standardized tests.

application of strategies that teach basic mechanics of writing
for Grades 3-5, and K-2.
LUNCH (12:00 - 1:00)
Afternoon
Session (1:00 - 3:00)
Hands-on experience of strategies
that teach Narrative & Expository Writing and suggestions
on how to correct papers
Day
3:
Outcome:
By the end of Day 3 you will have a thorough understanding of
the business aspects of the program and how to successfully market
the INCITE TO WRITE program. You will have learned additional
fun strategies for Creative Writing, and created your own 5-class
schedule from the activities you have learned.
